 I did not know that they still made dresses that elegant, let alone that there is still a woman who could do it justice. Zoe looks like she should be plotting the murder of Humphrey Bogart in some old noir movie, and in my opinion there is nothing sexier than that. Maybe that is why the men in my family do not live very long. It cannot be good for your life expectancy to be attracted to things that are likely to kill you.

People love to rag on the old days for being "sexist" and "racist" but it was never more common to have a woman depicted as a black widow than in one of those movies. Nowadays they just make a housewife have an affair before it all comes crashing to the ground. Back then they would have the wife murder the husband, or convince some gullible sap to do it for her. If that isn't empowering then I don't know what is. Eh, on second thought, I probably don't know what empowerment is, I never paid much attention during the vocabulary lessons in school. There was on need since the smartest girl in the grade sat beside me.
