GAMING

What does September mean for you? It could be all kinds of things. Maybe time to renew your annual subscription to Brazilian Bra-Busting Bazooka Badonkadonk Blitzkrieg magazine (which I’d better do too, while I think of it). Maybe time to start that new diet you’ve been lying to yourself about. Or maybe the sweet, sweet peace of your lil’ urchins returning to school.
Whatever it is, you grab it by the balls and go at it, Ego-friends. Make September great again, or something. As for me, all I’m really assed about with the start of a new month is the usual fresh crop of free game-age.
This time around, Xbox got the drop on Sony with their announcement. Let’s see what Games with Gold has in store for us from next week.
As per the Microsoft way, there’s two games on offer for each system. The One will play host to Earthlock: Festival of Magic, which is a fancy-ass title for an RPG if ever I’ve heard one. That’s up for download all through the month, while Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is available from September 16 to October 15.
Down 360 way, meanwhile, there’s a slice of open world racetastic on offer in the form of Forza Horizon (September 1-15). If that sort of thing isn’t your bag, you can also get yourself the parkour platformer that is Mirror’s Edge (September 16-30). All in all, there are some quality titles up for grabs here, worth an ogle if you haven’t tried them out before.
