Wonder Woman scene stealer Lucy Davis, who played Steve's assistant Etta Candy, is back in action along with the rest of Steve's team in this new deleted scene. The entire thing plays as a set-up for Justice League, which is why it was likely cut, as Etta conveys to the team that they have a new mission. They are going to retrieve what basically sounds like a Motherbox for the US Government.
The scene also features Ewan Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Eugene Brave Rock as Charlie, Sameer, and The Chief, respectively. It's a fun little bit of fan service/set-up for the Justice League, and based on Wonder Woman's running time, I imagine it's one of only three or four deleted scenes. Seriously, it was a great movie, great breakthrough for female centric movies directed by females, but it could have stood to shed about twenty minutes, amirite? Misogyny... hilarious!
Anyways, Wonder Woman is available now to own on Digital HD, and will make its way to DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and 4K Blu-ray on September 19.
