While the #MeThree! movement was so effective that it even took down men who didn't do anything wrong, R. Kelly has somehow inexplicably been able to skirt a full court press hashtag backlash for allegedly perpetually banging teenagers for decades and even brainwashing them into his one-man sex cult. Because a four-foot tall Aziz Ansari being an overly sloppy date is the real threat to society. The most recent woman to accuse a rapper, of all people, of sexual misconduct is some chick named Faith Rodgers, who did the dirty with Kelly last year. Rodgers must not be much of a reader, because somehow she didn't catch wind that R. Kelly pees on toddlers or whatthefuckever and decided to give romance a whirl.
She was legal at nineteen-years-old, so the allegations aren't so much about his XXX after school program as much as the fact that he knowingly gave her herpes during unwanted sexual encounters. Rodgers allowed Kelly into her hotel room for a booty call at 6 am - but in no way thought the encounter would be of a sexual nature - leading her to be shocked when he started putting on those classic R. Kelly moves:
Sex is not something I just do with somebody I'm engaging with for my first time. And he shrugged his shoulders and then he responds, 'Well, I'm at my best when I'm wanted.'
According to Buzzfeed, Kelly called himself "Daddy" and Faith "little doll" and said:
I want to teach you and show you how to be a woman.
Right before giving her herpes. Which is also something Rodgers is suing Kelly for, because apparently he didn't disclose that herpes was indeed a part of his STD portfolio. Rodgers added:
I think the hardest part was coming clean to my family about everything. And you kind of feel bad, you beat yourself up about it. I blame myself a lot.
Victim shaming is definitely not something I'm about to partake in because this is 2018 and people seriously need to wake up. However, I can't help but feel that Rodgers doesn't quite understand the job description of a whore.
