USA Women Take Olympic Gold in Team Gymnastics

Spoiler alert! Well, not really. You're on the internet, so no doubt that you've heard that Team USA just obliterated the field today to win the gold medal in women's team gymnastics for the first time since 1996. Of course, this happened earlier today in London, so it won't be on television until later tonight so it can be seen in primetime.

But there's no need to wait around, as we have some of the best pictures of these young ladies in action from their amazing Olympic showing. I'm not going to try and break down why this floor exercise scored higher than that one, or why the U.S. is so superior when it comes to the vault (they just are).

These photos show just how strong and determined the team was on their way to the middle spot on the medal stand. Congrats to team USA. No doubt they'll be winning even more hardware as the individual events continue throughout the games.
