The PR campaign for the "It" political comedy of the year, The Campaign, is now moving forward, full speed ahead. In the movie, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis are both gunning for a seat in congress in their North Carolina district, and where there's a Will, there's bound to be ruckus--especially since he has Zach as his opponent.
We've seen Will lose his cool in The Campaign's movie trailer. He also punched a baby because he was pissed off at Zach in the TV spot, but Zach lets everyone know he's no sissy either by firing back at his opponent--literally.
Two new posters have been released to promote The Campaign, and they feature our two spunky candidates looking as spiffy as ever. Hit the jump to check them out!
Ferrell plays congressman Cam Brady, who has always run uncontested. When he messes up, some rich businessmen decide to put up a rival candidate, Marty Huggins, as portrayed by Galifianakis. The race starts out clean, but things get dirty and underhanded pretty quickly.
The Campaign stars Jason Sudeikis, Katherine LaNasa, Dylan McDermott, and John Lithgow alongside Ferrell and Galifianakis and hits theaters on August 10th.
