Oh my. Cleveland Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson showed the power that made Cleveland draft him with the third overall pick. Richardson absolutely obliterated Philly's safety Kurt Coleman on a run today, knocking Coleman's helmet about 12 feet into the air and 4 yards backwards.
Cleveland nearly pulled off the upset, but Michael Vick threw a short touchdown pass on fourth and goal with less than two minutes left to get the the win, 17-16. Vick also threw four picks on the day. Not a good start for the Eagles.
I'm sure Coleman will be feeling the effects of that trucking tomorrow. At least they pulled the game out.
