While DC's big screen adventures look to create an identity of their own, their animated films have been a fairly consistent source of great, comic book based entertainment for the better part of a decade. While there have been some high profile misses among their animated entries—The Killing Joke being the most notable—the vast majority are solidly enjoyable adventures that are almost never short on fun.

The latest flick from Warner Brothers Animation is titled Batman and Harley Quinn and finds the caped crusader teaming up with the unhinged harlequin to stop Poison Ivy and Floronic Man from taking over Gotham. As the voice of Harley, Big Bang Theory star Melissa Rauch has obviously taken more than a few vocal cues from Margot Robbie's portrayal of the character in last year's Suicide Squad, making Harley sound like she's straight outta Yonkers, but the character is sporting her classic look which is sure to make comic fans gaga over her.

Fans will also be happy to hear Kevin Conroy's voice coming out of Batman's mouth once more, proving that for many, his is still the definitive version of the character. Batman and Harley Quinn is set to hit home video on August 15.
