Today is the first day that the media is allowed to watch the New York Jets practice. Not that there's any big news, like maybe a brewing quarterback controversy between Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow or anything. Even if there isn't, nothing like a little media jumping the gun to get things really hopping, right? Check out this tweet Sports Illustrated and their @SINow account sent out.
You gotta love that.
Tebow is on a new team, with new offensive coordinators and during a practice on May 24th he throws a couple of picks so SI wonders if the experiment has gone wrong. I think it's safe to say that the media will be fueling the controversy more than Tebow or Sanchez will.
We're also getting our first look at Tim 'Tebowing' from Madden '13 from EA Sports.
Looks like the real thing.
But if Sports Illustrated is right, will we ever see it in real life?
I think that Tebow will most likely score a few TDs this season, whether he's running it in as some kind of fullback, tailback, H back, or whatever. He might even run some in as the quarterback out of the Wildcat offense.
Since it's only May and the first games aren't until September, it's hard to tell, but it's not really necessary to wonder if there's trouble in paradise right now.
