When I was a kid I was obsessed with He-Man and The Masters of the Universe. I had all the toys including Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain with the microphone that made you sound like a monster. I would come home from school to watch the TV show. Sure, it was a callous attempt to sell toys, but so was Transformers. I didn't care, I loved that crap. It told the story of effeminate prince Adam who with the power of a magic sword turned into the rough trade barbarian He-Man. His mission was to defeat the evil high-pitched villain Skeletor from taking over their world Eternia. I even love the Cannon Films Masters of the Universe movie with Dolph Lundgren. My friends used to play He-Man on the playground. I was always Man-At-Arms because he was my favorite. I liked his Freddy Mercury mustache. So, this DIY intro to He-Man done by the good folks at CineFix as part of their Homemade Movies series fills me with joy.

He-Man needs to come back. They are rebooting everything these days, why not He-Man? The political climate now is different so prince Adam can live his true prince Adam.
