TV & FILM
Michael Garcia - April 26, 2016
Captain America: Civil War comes out May 6 and the studio is in full marketing mode. They are experts at their jobs, which is why they get paid the big bucks. That's how they know to tease just enough of the stuff we really want without giving away too much. This TV spot does that with Spiderman. Let's face it, that's what we're all waiting for. So, they leave Spidey until the end of the spot and they give us one or two cool images to wet our appetite. The rest of the movie looks badass as well. In this TV spot we see many things get blown up. That's opposed to the previous previews which mostly involve Cap punching suckers in the face. And Iron Man. They are going to fight something serious and that, my friends, is effing amazing.
It's amazing how better at making superhero movies Marvel is than DC. It's not even a contest. Maybe this movie will suck, we shall see, but so far it looks pretty good.
