Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention. I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying fantastic news story. I need all of you to stop what you're doing and listen. Are you ready? Okay, here is goes.
Anchorman 2 is no longer opening on Friday, December 20. Instead, it's opening two days earlier on Wednesday, December 18. There's no official word from Paramount as to why they suddenly decided for a mid-week opening. However, my theory is that, with all the promotional appearances Will Ferrell has been making as Ron Burgundy recently, they're starting to run out of mustache glue, and now have no choice but to bump it up.
That, or maybe they just realized that, by moving premier up two days, they can squeeze a whole week in before Christmas and get a jump on Walking with the Dinosaurs and Disney's Saving Mr. Banks.
Point is, Anchorman 2 is coming out December 18 now, and everyone's excited.
