TV & FILM
Michael Garcia - August 9, 2016
When I was a little kid in the 80's there were few things I loved as much as Transformers. I'm talking about both the toys and the kick ass animated TV show. I loved to root for the Autobots as they battled the evil Decepticons for dominance of Earth. When the live action versions came out when I was in my twenties, I was terribly disappointed. They didn't come close to capturing the awesomeness that the animated show did. But in 1986 they made a movie version of the show and it broke the heart of every kid in the world. Thirty year old spoiler alert, Optimus Prime dies to save the Autobots and it wrecked me. Now, on the 30th anniversary of that monumental films it is being rereleased on Blu-Ray, DVD, and streaming and they made this kick ass trailer for it. If you watch the movie again and nothing stirs in your heart, then you are dead inside.
Plus it has a truly incredible 80's soundtrack. "You've Got The Touch!"
