I'm not sure how it happened, exactly, but somehow Liam Neeson, a highly respected actor in his 30s and 40s, has become a cliched action star in his 50s and, now, 60s.
I'm not being critical, here. Or at least, I'm not trying to be. The dude is pretty awesome. I'm just saying I get all his actions films confused because they're pretty much all the same: badass dude proves to criminal element that he is not to be trifled with.
Neeson's latest flick? That would be Non-Stop. It's about a U.S. Air Marshal who gets texts from some serial killer/terrorist threatening to kill one passenger on a flight from New York to London every 20 minutes until some ungodly sum of money is deposited into some bank account. So basically it's pretty much just like The Grey, but without the crash and the wolves; or it's just like Taken, but on a plane and with more Julianne Moore; or maybe it's just like Unknown, but without the amnesia and a lot more texting.
You get the idea. Just watch the trailer.
