Whether it's fighting terrorists, aliens, or a filibuster, being the President of the United States takes a lot of hard work. Or it could be really easy because this is America and you're the goddamn president. Hi-yah! (Note to self: Make a movie about a kung-fu President. Maybe something along the lines of "White House, Black Belt").
Anyway, thanks to the art of television and cinema, we've seen the full spectrum of this. On one end, we have the motivational presidents that deliver inspiring speeches and take matters into their own hands, and on the other end, we have a president who mocks an evil man because asking for 100 billion dollars is like asking for "a kagillion, bagillion dollars." Either way, we're entertained, and at the end of the day, that's all that really matters.
