The New Radiohead Video For Burn The Witch Is Super Weird

I love Radiohead. I am a man of a certain age that came of age back in the Pablo Honey and The Bends days. One of the things I love about them is their friggin' weird videos. Who can forget the animated bizarro world from the Paranoid Android video or Thom Yorke gasping in a space helmet slowly filling with water in the No Surprises video? Today they released their new video for their song Burn the Witch and it is seriously effed up. It is claymation and looks like a Rankin Bass cartoon sort of. It tells the tale of a man who comes to a small town where everything is not as it seems. There is a bunch of spooky pagan stuff happening. It's basically like The Wicker Man. It's exactly like The Wicker Man, actually. All the while, Thom Yorke sings about witches. Why? Why not?

I always loved The Wicker Man. The original. Not the remake with Nick Cage. That crap is ridiculous. "NOT THE BEES!"
