It is a fact of science and the universe that Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats is the worst show that has ever been produced on stage. I was a theater major in college and I've seen and read a lot of terrible shows, but a three hour screechfest about cats is beyond the pale. So, it is no surprise that when it came time to make a musical adaptation of the Kardashian story that it would be a mash-up of Cats. There is a new musical called Katdashians from the minds of Bob and Tobly McSmith who brought us the Saved by the Bell and Full House musicals. It charts their medioric rise from just another family of spoiled rich girls in LA to the most famous family in America. And yes, Kaitlyn Jenner's transition is featured. The show is supposedly pretty good but I just don't think I could sit through it.
I tried watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians once and I wanted to jam a screwdriver in my eye after fifteen minutes. And Cats is like testicular torture. I think I'll pass on this one.
