Michael Garcia - November 13, 2012

Week 10 was pretty solid all the way around in the NFL. Houston went into Chicago for a prime time matchup of 7-1 teams and left the soggy field with a hard fought 13-6 win. I had picked Chicago, so that loss puts me at 5-2 on the week with Pittsburgh left tonight. Thanks for showing up, Miami. 37-3 blowout at home to Tennessee? Embarrassing.

Adrian Peterson continues to amaze, less than a year after major reconstructive surgery, and lengthened his lead in rushing yards after another huge day. AP had 171 yards, including a 61-yarder that put the Vikings ahead for good against Detroit.

Rough day for QBs...Michael Vick, Jay Cutler, Alex Smith all left their games with concussions, and Vick's is said to be 'significant.' Looks like Philly fans might get their wish for Nick Foles to start, and he looked decent yesterday filling in. Doesn't matter, the Eagles season is over at this point anyway.

The Niners ended their game with Colin Kaepernick and a tie with the Rams. The Bears had Jason Campbell after Cutler went down, and while he played okay, he didn't move the ball much, throwing for 94 yards in the second half. The Bears were 7-3 last season went Cutler got hurt, then finished 8-8 so no doubt fans in Chicago are hoping Jay gets back soon.
