While his brother Frank, the real talent in the family, battles his own demons this week, Sylvester Stallone will be battling Drago, or something, on the set of Creed II. That's right folks, filming is now underway, or at least, I think it is. Sly posted this rambling video where he muses about having once lived in a trailer, then invites us in to see his trailer before delivering a knockout blow that ends the video mid-sentence.
If this is a performance art piece of some sort to promote Creed II, I'm all for it. If the entire Creed II advertising campaign was just rambling, incoherent videos of Sly Stallone walking around confused and frightened by the world around him, I'd see the hell out of that movie.
Also, one last thing about Creed II—due in theaters in seven months by the way. You can't start the numbering system again. It needs to be Creed: Never Back Down or Creed: I'm Fighting Drago's Son For Some Reason, or even Creed: With Arms Wide Open. The only other film franchise with the balls to start renumbering was Leprechaun, where the sixth film in the series is titled Leprechaun Back 2 Tha Hood, restarting an already hopelessly complex numbering system. Don't let this happen again, makers of Creed II. Come up with a better title, please.
