Star Wars Rogue One TV Spot Looks Promising

This TV spot for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story looks encouraging which is a good thing because I'm afraid. Mainly because they did all kinds of last minute rewrites and extensive reshoots. It's not uncommon for a movie to reshoot a scene or two but these looked like they overhauled the whole movie. It's unclear what wasn't working but obviously something was amiss. Some say that director Gareth Edwards made it too dark. Imagine how awesome a truly dark Star Wars movie would have been. But we are dealing with Disney so we can't go too far off the rails. Still, I have hope that they will pull it out in the end. So far Disney has done a decent job injecting the fun and adventure back into Star Wars. Let's hope they can do it again.

There isn't a whole lot of new stuff in this trailer but it did get me excited again. Especially Donnie Yen beating the crap out of stromtroopers with a bo staff.
