Spoiler alert, I guess.
Man of Steel won't officially hit theaters until Friday, but that hasn't stopped Warner Bros. from signing off on a sequel. Director Zack Snyder and writer David Goyer are both slated to return, while Christopher Nolan has not yet been confirmed to produce. Nor has there been any official word from either of its stars Henry Cavill and Amy Adams.
I guess this means Superman lives through the first installment. If not, it's going to be a really strange sequel. I also suppose this means Warner Bros. is confidant about Man of Steel's chances at the box office. Hopefully Sony didn't share that same confidence for After Earth, or else somebody got fired.
Man of Steel (the first film, not the sequel) opens nation wide June 14th.
