GAMING
bill-swift - December 11, 2012
South Park: The Stick of Truth offers a very basic promise: you're in control of a foul-mouthed episode of the veteran Comedy Central show. The fact that you can't distinguish the cutscenes from the gameplay in this trailer is either a testament to the game designers and artists kicking ass or an admission that South Park's animation is so outdated that the average person can probably draw and animate those characters in 5-minutes on their mobile phones. Either way, if little kids cursing and agenda-setting masquerading as coarse social commmentary have been and continue to be your thing, the Stick of Truth should be quite a treat for you in 2013. And seriously with a game that intentionally looks that crappy and is supposed to get by on clever jokes, why does it take even this long to make? Thing should've been done by the time you finish reading this sentence with downloadable content on the way.
