If you read the headline for this post and thought "who?" and "who?" then congratulations. You passed the test. Stage four nobodies will always have a platform to air out drama that nobody cares about as long as screeching gossip-starved homosexual windup toys like Andy Cohen have radio and talk shows. On his Sirius radio fireside shat, Cohan got Bush - who starred alongside Murray on teen sex party channel the CW's series One Tree Hill - to open up about her five-month-long marriage to Murray:
Everybody’s been 22 and stupid. It was not a thing I actually really wanted to do. Ladies have to learn how to take up space in a way men are taught they are entitled to! ...How do you let everybody down and how do you- what’s the fight and when you have bosses telling you that you’re the only person who gets a person to work on time and 200 people either get to see their kids at night or they don’t because our days start on time.
Life is always loaded. What the public knows ever is never- it’s not the tip of the iceberg. Hilarie [Burton] and I used to laugh and we were like, ‘If we had a behind-the-scenes show, the drama would be so much f–king better than the drama that the writers write.'
We've always known that the CW casting process is indistinguishable from the sex trafficking fire sale scene in Taken, so it wouldn't be the biggest shocker if execs had such little respect for Bush as a person that they coerced her into marrying Murray in order to generate buzz for the series. But snippets like "It was not a thing I actually really wanted to do" relinquish Bush of all the blame for her failed marriage and instead pin the blame on both the network and Murray. Who, not surprisingly, released a counter statement through his rep - because you're definitely famous enough to need a rep, Chad ::wink:: - claiming that Bush is filled to the brim with crap:
[The] story is ludicrous. Chad conducts himself in a completely professional manner and would never marry for any reason but love. Thirteen years since his divorce from Sophia, he has a very happy family life with his wife and children. He has completely moved on and doesn’t feel the need to engage in this type of behavior.
So, now Bush has been painted as the desperate jilted ex-lover trying to distract from the fact that she's getting older with fabricated stories about her decade-old marriage. But more importantly, who and who?
