If you're the type that forgoes playing your open-world crime simulator on the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 in favor of your trusty old PC/laptop, then you'll be stoked to find out that Sleeping Dogs is being ultra optimized for those high performance gaming rigs out there. Plus, you can get free stuff in Team Fortress 2 if you pre-order Sleeping Dogs through Steam.

If you go with high end Nvidia or AMD graphics hardware on your multi-core processor machine, you're going to get the richest visual experience for Dogs available. Crisper shadows, better draw distance and small object optimization are and industry buzz word salad that all lead to the same conclusion: the game is going to look best on the PCs that can handle it. This isn't revolutionary as PC versions of multiplatform games usually do have the most potential to look amazing. The unwritten news here is that Sleeping Dogs is being pushed as a game that will be so big that even hardcore PC gamers  --who usually limit themselves to shooters and strategy games-- will be getting down with some undercover cop action.

Pre-ordering the game on Steam --Valve's popular digital download store-- will give Sleeping Dogs inspired items and gags to Team Fortress 2 players as well. Heavies will breath fire, Pyros will use neon signs as melee weapons and Scouts will get to use gigantic cleavers in TF2. Yes buying this new game will get you free items in another, totally unrelated PC game. That's rare, kids.

Keep it here for more on Sleeping Dogs because the time has come to start spilling the beans on this one.
