Simon Pegg Is Using Ant-Man to Screw with Everyone

Is he, or isn't he? That's the question people with way too much time on their hands are asking in regard to Simon Pegg being cast asAnt-Man.

While visiting the Marvel offices, Pegg tweeted out a pic of himself pointing at a picture of the lesser-known superhero. Given the fact that his friend Edgar Wright is directing the upcoming film adaptation, many took this tweet to be a sign that Pegg would be starring in the film.
But as the rumor spread, Marvel was quick to deny it. Pegg himself also denied involvement... sort of. Initially Pegg tweeted

FFS the Internet, all I did was point at the central character in my dear friend's next movie, because I'm excited for him. #iamantman." He then added, "Oh wait, I ****ed up that hashtag. It was supposed to be #iamnotantman.

Pegg and Wright went on to tweet amusing rumors about Pegg's alleged involvement in the new Batman/Superman film, as well as 50 Shades of Grey. While chances are Pegg will not be Ant-Man, I'm sure the actor will continue screwing with us as long as possible. I know I would. (Source)
