This is going to come as a huge shock to you, but a new poster for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has been banned by the Motion Picture Association of America because it's just too goshdarned risqué.
The poster features Eva Green, who plays the titular Dame to Kill For, holding a pistol and wearing a sheer silk robe that reveals the fact that she has beasts. According to the MPAA, the poster was banned "for nudity—curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown." But I've had a good long look at it, and yeah, there's serious breast curvature, but areola? I just don't see it.
Of course, the curves were probably enough to do this one in. Everyone knows Americans hate shapely bosoms.
In fact, you probably don't even want to see the whole poster. But I'm going to show it to you anyway. Because damnit this is America, and sometimes, for the sake of freedom, we just have to suck it up and look at a gorgeous rack, even if we don't want to.
So here, don't look at this poster for me. Look at it for your children. And your children's children.
I'm really sorry you had to see that.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (a.k.a. Sin City 2) hits theaters August 22.
