Seth Rogen Is Making an R-Rated Animated Film About a Sausage, and You’re Never Going to Guess Who’s In It!

Okay, so the first part of that headline was true. Seth Rogen and writing/directing pal Evan Goldber really are making an R-Rated animated film about a sausage who falls out of a grocery cart and then embarks on a hero's journey to get back to his aisle. It's called Sausage Party, which is funny because that's what people sometimes call male-only social gatherings—you know, because sausages look like penises, and vice versa.

However, the second part of that headline, the part about you never being able to guess who's in it? That was a total lie. I guarantee you can guess who's in it. In fact, let's try a little experiment. Think up a list of seven names, and we'll see who you get right.

Okay? Have you got your list? Well, I bet it includes James Franco, Jonah Hill, and Michael Cera, and it might even include David Krumholtz and Nick Kroll if you were trying really hard. And if so, you were right. Sausage Party will indeed feature all those actors, along with Kristin Wiig and the only major surprise, Edward Norton.

As for the other dudes you probably had on your list, don't worry. Craig Robinson, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, and Jason Segel might still get parts. There are lots of different foods in the grocery store. Plus, the film isn't slated for release until 2015. So there's time.
