Fans rejoiced when Universal confirmed that Jim Carrey was joining the ranks of Kick-Ass 2's cast as Colonel Stars. Stars is basically a toughened ex-mafia enforcer turned vigilante who eventually goes on to lead Justice Forever. At least, that's who he was in the comics, but I doubt Jim's character will diverge much from that in the movie.
Anyway, filming for Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall began around a week ago, and the entire crew is now on location somewhere in Toronto, Canada. A lot of bystanders (and fans) happened to be in the area when Carrey stepped out in uniform and filmed a scene with Aaron Johnson, who plays the titular superhero.
If you've got a sharp eye, then you'll spot Lindy Booth as Night Bitch and Robert Emms as Insect Man within the frame easily. (Heck, you'd have to be blind to miss them!)
They don't really do much except talk and walk a little, but the video is still something to get excited about. Especially if you have been waiting to see Jim in uniform and are just plain excited about the sequel, in general. I know I am.
