Sequel Talk: What’s Up with ‘Kick-Ass 2’, ‘Inbetweeners 2’, and ‘300: Battle of Artemisia’

The casting  news for Kick-Ass 2 continues to trickle in after it was revealed that Jim Carrey might just join the crew as the awesome Colonel Stars. Now two more are set to join the universe's most unconventional superhero crew: Lindy Booth as Night Bitch and Andy Nyman as the villainous Tumor. One superhero and one villain? Not bad.

Next up, we've got the sequel for Inbetweeners. Or rather, we've got the possibility of a sequel for the movie that hit last 2011. Leading man Simon Bird recently sat down with the folks over at Shortlist and he reveals that while nothing has been finalized yet, the odds are high that we'll be back at the theaters watching the gang going on more misadventures soon.

Gerard Butler was kick-ass as King Leonidas in 300, but it looks like he won't be returning for the sequel to the ultra-charged and highly violent movie entitled 300: Battle of Artemisia. You might recall that Butler played a central role in the first movie, since he was the King after all. It'll be interesting to see how they'll twist the story to explain away his absence.
