The good people of San Francisco were warned of an imminent Godzilla attack by a road sign. It looks like someone hacked the sign to read "Godzilla Attack! Turn Back". I realize it's just a joke and that's what makes me mad. First of all, you shouldn't joke about a kaiju attack. What if people start to panic? Does this joker really want rioting and looting on his conscience? Also, if people think that every time they hear about Godzilla stomping into town it's a joke they are less likely to take actual precautions when the real Godzilla arrives. It's the classic tale of boy who cried Godzilla. That's the problem with these kids today is that they don't take anything seriously. Maybe this new Godzilla movie will teach these youngins about the need for proper Godzilla preparedness.
My family and I have a go-bag in case of Godzilla attack. Luckily, the kaiju usually don't arise on the Eastern seaboard but I don't want to take any risks. If a Godzilla stomps through Brooklyn, stepping on hipsters and Russians in mustaches, I'm going to be ready. My kit includes a flashlight, a first aid kit, and a good pair of running shoes. Because what is the first lesson we all learned from all those Godzilla movies? Run! Godzilla!
