Goddamn, 2016 is going fast. It only feels like yesterday we were singing Auld Lang Syne, making complete BS resolutions we knew full well we’d abandon completely by 1am, waking up in a stranger’s house wondering where our undercrackers had gone… all the usual New Years shenanigans. Now, before you’ve even had time to scratch your ass, we’re heading into July.
Where did those six months go? I’ve no idea. I don’t remember any of it. But heavy drinking will do that to you. One thing I can tell you is that they have passed. I’ve been marking the time with the one regular-as-clockwork thing we can count on in this crazy-ass world: monthly free game lineups from PlayStation and Xbox.
First up for July, we have PS Plus’s crop of offerings. Let’s take an ogle at what’s coming to Sony systems this month.
PS4 owners can get themselves free-roamy actioner Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell, as well as bizarre indie rhythm/boss rush with bunnies game Furi. On PS3, there’s a choice of Fat Princess and Call of Juarez: Bound With Blood, while the Vita offers Prince of Persia: Revelation and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines.
It’s a fair-to-half-assed selection, as is usually the case. There is one extra bonus, though, in that PS Plus subscribers will also be offered early access to Epic’s MOBA Paragon, ahead of the mid-August beta.
