In the latest development in the ongoing saga of Pussy Riot, the Russian Orthodox Church has come out with a video game called "Don't Let Pussy Riot In The Cathedral". In the game, you whack the little goofy mask wearing riot grrrls with a golden cross. If they get into the cathedral they grow devil horns and begin to tear apart the church. You'll recall that last year a crappy band of angry feminists called Pussy Riot were arrested after they stormed Moscow's Christ the Savior cathedral and sang a song about Vladimir Putin. The gals were sent to prison and created a huge international incident showing what totalitarian a-holes the Russian government still are. But the Russian Orthodox Church took it as a great victory and is celebrating in video game form. The game was developed for a youth festival for Jesus loving Ruskies. The organizers think that,

"There are young people who do not have a relationship [with religion] and do not wish to talk about the church. But when they see this game, we have the chance to talk to them about what is happening at the church and why it is necessary."

I wish all religions went after their enemies with crappy flash games. Imagine if instead of fighting hundreds of years of wars during the Protestant Reformation the Catholic Church had had the ability to make a video game where you could smack Martin Luther and John Calvin with a miter. Maybe the conflict in the Middle East could be solved through a friendly game of "Who did Abraham Take to Sacrifice 3000"? Think about it.
