Rumours of Avril Lavigne’s Nose Job Have Been Greatly Exagerated

Life & Style magazine, the publication not exactly known for it's accuracy of reporting is putting forth the question: Did Avril Lavigne get a nose job?

So, what proof does Life & Style have? Why, one other than New York plastic surgeon, Dr. George Lefkovitz. Now, before we get to his brilliant quote, let me just preface this by saying just because you're a plastic surgeon, doesn't mean you're a good plastic surgeon, and just because Life & Style puts you in their magazine, doesn't mean you know what the fuck you're talking about.

"Her old nose was too short and bulbous," he says. "The new nose has better balance and proportion. The tip is more refined."

But not to worry: Dr. Lefkovits assures that a rhinoplasty like Avril's (approximate cost: $10,000) won't affect the resonance of the singer's voice. That's good news for Avril, who's currently recording her third album.

(Experts consulted for this story submitted their opinions after reviewing the featured star's pictures. They have not personally worked with any of the celebrities)

So, keeping in mind that the photos offered for scrutiny hardly amount to any kind of proof that Avril has actually had a nose job (note the alternate lighting, angles, and facial expressions), the disclaimer clearly says that the whole basis for this judgement is based solely on the "expert's" review of said pictures.

Hey Life & Style, you guys are doing a bang up job.
