Red Band Trailer for Shark Thriller ‘Bait 3D’ Hits (VIDEO)

Jaws was, is, and always will be one of the greatest shark horror-slash-thriller movies of all time. It's been a while since anyone attempted to make a movie from the same niche, so Bait 3D is definitely a welcome change from all the superhero movies and sci-fi flicks we've been seeing late. Or is it?

Bait 3D promises to be something different, though, as Anchor Bay has reinvented how shark thrillers are done by throwing in a robbery and a tsunami to add an extra layer of unbelievability. Check out some action from the movie in this newly-released red band trailer for Bait 3D!

Josh and Tina find themselves in a desperate situation, trapped in the underground supermarket along with other survivors from the store with no escape. The survivors quickly realize their battle is not only to overcome the threat of drowning and the predator within their midst, but a threat far more sinister -- hungry great white sharks.

Intrigued? I know I am. Bait 3D is directed by Kimble Rendall and stars Phoebe Tonkin, Alex Russell, Sharni Vinson, Xavier Samuel, Julian McMahon, and Cariba Heine.
