Rambo: The Video Game Will Feature Explosions, Possibly Gunfire

Why it's taken this long to get a Rambo game on our super powerful video game consoles remains a mystery to me. Stallone resurrected the movie franchise a few years back and now we're getting a game from little known Reef Entertainment? This either means Rambo is going to explode our expectations with overwhelming gallons of badassery or somebody, only recently, said "Hey the Rambo license is fairly affordable isn't it?" Either way, we're all going to want to keep track of this one.

"We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August" Reef Entertainment Commercial Director Craig Lewis said. "During this time we have been dedicated to creating a videogame for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle."

Hmmm. Under the skin, eh? Clearly Rambo will feature knife play because that's the best most appealing way to get under skin when it comes to video games. Other than that we're not going to speculate on the genre, type or aspirations of Rambo until we get a better understanding of the game at next month's gamescom in Germany. That show is all about the schnitzel, FIFA and now Rambo.
