TV & FILM

Last week it was announced that Ridley Scott's latest addition to the Alien franchise, Prometheus, would not be tinkered with by the studio to appeal to a wider audience. And according to our good friends over at Collider they have stuck to their word as the site have received a ticket stub which states that Prometheus will be R rated.
20th Century Fox have confirmed that Prometheus will be rated R for "sci-fi violence including some intense images, and brief language." No confirmation then that either Charlize Theron or Noomi Rapace will shed their clothes for us but we can only live in hope. You can see the most famous ticket stub* in the world below. It's pretty boring though. It's just a piece of paper.
Told you.
So does Prometheus getting an R rating instantly make it a better film? Well, technically no, but it does mean that there is a greater chance that it isn't an other piece of watered down garbage that single handily ruins an entire film franchise through it's mere existence. Fingers crossed that it doesn't do that anyway.
*I can't think of any more famous movie stubs. Maybe the one in John Dillinger's pocket when he got shot?
