President Obama Doesn’t Envy New York Jets Fans

Bill Clinton was the kind of president that people wanted to have a beer with; it would make for a heck of a night to go partying with the former POTUS. However, I'll take watching a game with the sports-loving current commander-in-chief Barack Obama instead.

The man has not hidden the fact that he is a fan of all teams Chicago (you have to dig the loyalty), but his knowledge and opinions don't stop with just teams in the Windy City. Since everyone else is busy talking about Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez, why not the President?

I gotta tell you, I don't like the idea of a quarterback controversy at the start of a season, so if I was a Jets' fan, I'd be pretty nervous.

If there is any person in the entire country that has any idea what it's like to deal with pressure it's the President. If he's nervous, Jets Fans, it sounds like you may have reason to be a bit concerned.

The word out of New York, from Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez, or head coach Rex Ryan, is that there is no controversy. Even when Tim Tebow did a bang up job of running the red zone offense during Thursday's practice it didn't appear to bug Sanchez in the least.

It does not matter. We got to win the game. We're in the business of winning. It's fine with me.

Now when Sanchez has trouble getting the offense close enough for Tebow to work his magic and the fans start to cry for Tebow to take over full-time it will be interesting to see if he sings the same tune.
