France’s Nic Batum Punches Juan Carlos Navarro Square in the Balls (VIDEO)

This is the kind of thing that really has no place in any sporting event, or anywhere in life, actually. France's Nicholos Batum was unapologetic after punching Spain's Juan Carlos Navarro right in the junk during a quarterfinal game today in London.

Batum was fed up with Navarro's supposed flopping (an issue everywhere now in basketball, apparently) and was asked about it by Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski. Batum replied 'I wanted to give him a good reason to flop.' Ouch. I think he succeeded.

Batum was way out of line here if you ask me and, I don't know, every male on the planet. There's really no reason, other than self-defense I guess, to do what he did here. Yeesh.

Check out the .gif here if the video doesn't fulfill all your nutpunch watching needs.

Spain won the game, 66-59.
