New ‘Skyfall’ Teaser Trailer Reports for Duty

A new teaser trailer for the James Bond film Skyfall was broadcast on NBC during their coverage of the Olympic opening ceremony. Helmed by American Beauty director Sam Mendes, the trailer doesn't show a dream sequence of a naked Daniel Craig surrounded by floating rose petals, but it does show a boatload of action, explosions, gun shots and climactic shot of Daniel Craig jumping through a collapsing train car in time to smoothly fix his cufflink.

M becomes the subject of a government review when MI6's active case roster is leaked, compromising the identities of every single undercover operative the agency has placed in terrorist networks around the world. When the agency itself is attacked, it falls to James Bond to seek out and eliminate the threat regardless of the cost to himself.

Daniel Craig returns to US theaters as the British spy on November, 9th.
