TV & FILM

It's not a good idea to get too excited about a new Transformers movie too soon, even though everything we assume about the fourth installment will probably be true: it will be huge and destruct-y. But we could go on and on about all of the amazing things they should do, but probably won't. (Like bringing back the Constructicons and Devastator.) Dare to dream.
To keep up the buzz without spoiling what will be next summer's huge blockbuster, photos of the next round of Autobot designs have been trickling out. And today, Michael Bay personally released the new Optimus Prime design on his website. And while it's supposed to be all amazing and new, it looks pretty much exactly like the old Prime. The new truck was custom designed by Western Star, a subsidiary of Daimler Chrysler and is supposedly 'completely upgraded'. Sure, you can't really mess too much with the original, but c'mon, give us a little more than that. On the upside? Shia LaBeouf won't be riding in it.
Ugh, it's gonna be a long year.
