New ‘Oblivion’ TV Spot Is A Lot Like Wall-E But With Less Obese Humans (VIDEO)

He may take a lot of crap from people, but let's face it, Tom Cruise is still one of our few bonafide A-list movie stars. And has he ever slept through a role? He seems to always put everything he's got into his movies to make sure we get out money's worth and you've got to respect that. I think you've got to respect that...You've got to respect that. And now, love him or hate him, he's suited up to save earth with Olga Kurylenkoby his side as seen in this newest tv spot for Oblivion. And any excuse to watch Olga for two hours is enough of a reason to buy a ticket. Though I suppose it also helps that this movie looks pretty badass.

Jack Harper is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth in the year 2073. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, Jack's mission is nearly complete. Currently living in and patrolling in various towns built in the skies from thousands of feet above, his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues an attractive female stranger from a downed spacecraft. Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything that he knows.

Oblivion opens April 12th.
