Not this grown man, mind you...but, y'know, other grown men. (For the record, I haven't cried since Magic and Bird: A Courtship of Rivals)
Anyways, yeah, there's a new teaser for the final season of Breaking Bad and it features Bryan Cranston's Walter White reading Percy Bysshe Shelley's poem Ozymandias. Sure, that sounds all cute and arty and whatnot, but holy sh*t if you can't listen to the One Who Knocks reading such an ominous piece of wordplay without feeling like there's an imminent apocalypse...what's the point? It will do funny things to you (and not 'Ha ha' funny).
The poem's central theme is about the collapse of empires and their overconfident leaders (nudge nudge, wink wink) so clearly someone overconfident and their empire are going to collapse...maybe? Oof. Look at Heisenberg's hat in the New Mexico dust...that's just...woah.
Less than two weeks until Breaking Bad is cooking again.
