The second half of Sweet Sixteen games tip off tonight...here's a quick look at what to expect.
#1 North Carolina vs. #13 Ohio University - 7:47 ET on TBS
North Carolina will try to fill a huge gap with the loss of injured point guard Kendall Marshall, though he hasn't officially been ruled out after breaking his wrist in the last round. Still, UNC's experience, size and athleticism should be enough to get by this year's Cinderella. Ohio will be fired up and will try to ride Walter Offutt and D.J. Cooper to the upset, and will keep it close. UNC will still pull off the win.
#10 Xavier vs. #3 Baylor - 7:15 ET on CBS
Baylor's Brady Heslip knocked down 9 of 12 from the 3-point line in the Bears win over Colorado, but that probably won't happen again. Still, Baylor has been steady throughout the season and should pull off this game. Xavier has been up and down all year and will need big games from guards Tu Holloway and Mark Lyons if they want to keep it close. Baylor will move on to the Elite Eight.
#11 North Carolina State vs. #2 Kansas - 10:17 ET on TBS
NC State's C.J. Leslie has been on fire over the last 10 games, connecting on 60% of his field goals. The Wolfpack has also been bringing their A game as of late, and ride a ton of momentum coming into tonight's game. Kansas has a lot of size and won the tough Big 12 conference, led by Tyshawn Taylor. NC State will provide the shocker of the night, knocking off the powerful Jayhawks.
#4 Indiana vs. #1 Kentucky - 9:45 ET on CBS
Indiana handed Kentucky a loss back in December on a buzzer beater in Indiana. Don't think Kentucky has forgotten that. The tourney's number one seed will have all the motivation they need to show that that game was a fluke. The Wildcats will come out on fire, led by defensive monster Anthony Davis. The Hoosiers will try to keep it close, but Kentucky is going to walk away with this one.
