So do you remember those much-talked-about Natalie Portman nude scenes that were shot for Closer, but then cut out of the movie? Well, if you were hoping for some super-special, ultimate wank edition DVD, or something, you can officially stop hoping now. Portman told Vanity Fair magazine that the director, Mike Nichols, pormised to burn the original film strips (no pun intended) once the scenes were cut from the movie, reports The Sun.
I will not allow myself to be on a porn site... I don't want to be used by someone else for turning me into something that I'm not.
But I was doing everything because I knew that Mike was going to get my permission about everything and show me everything and talk to me.
He was like: 'That stuff's going to be burned if we don't use it.'
Damn you Mike Nichols! Damn You! Of course, it only says that he promised to burn the scenes. No word yet on whether his personal collection has been searched.
Vanity Fair magazine featuring this stunning photoshoot of Natalie Portman is on newsstands now.
