myLED Light-Up Notification System Makes Life a Lot Easier

Hate missing calls and reading an email that could've saved you a lot of trouble if you'd read it earlier? Most of the time, you have to turn off the ringer on your iPhone so you won't bug others will all the beeps and buzzes that signal the arrival of a message or alert. The problem is, you end up missing them altogether--but not for long!

myLED is here and it looks like they're here to stay, provided they get enough people to back their project up on Kickstarter before the deadline hits.

myLED is basically a LED notification light that lights up when you get a call, an email, or an update from Skype, Facebook, and Twitter. No need to constantly check your phone for updates or annoy people with your ring tones because myLED flashes whenever it's time to actually check your device.

The downside? myLED doesn't work for text messages (yet!) and you can't use your headphones when you're using it (because it's to be plugged into your headphone jack.) But other than that, it's pretty awesome.
