Bored with your wife? Call Miranda Lambert for a fun time. She’s more than willing to entertain you. Her boyfriend thieving ways were probably inspired from living in a generic small town in Texas that should have been torn down by a tornado years ago. But somehow she managed to survive and became a country singing, wine to bored house wife selling, husband stealing superstar. WOO! Miranda captured her current Country singing man Evan Felker while he was still with his wife Staci Felker. Allegedly Miranda was still involved with her ex-husband Blake Shelton at the time as well. So now we know the real reason why Blake sings Came Here To Forget. Getting cucked behind closed doors isn’t an easy thing to get off a man’s mind.
A source gave all the details of how Miranda and Evan came to be. Miranda and Evan started texting before his band Turnpike Troubadours joined her tour in February for a few dates. Their texts started out professional with Miranda slobbering out words of praise for Evan’s music and saying she wanted to write songs with him. When their texts got flirtier, Evan supposedly told Staci about it, but didn’t want to shut Miranda down.
Source:
“He knew it was flirty and crossed a line with Staci. He showed her the whole thing and felt bad about it. It wasn’t sexual or anything, but he was like, ‘I don’t want to blow her off because this is the kind of money that can change our grandkids’ lives if I’m able to write with this person.’”
I suspect the cheating started when Blake sold his Silverado. In Texas you’re not really considered a man if you don’t own a pick up truck, and you’re not really a woman if the back pockets of your jeans are missing the Jesus cross with wings littered with rhinestones. I’d say this is out of character for someone from the Lone Star state but it’s right on par for someone born in a town that can be traveled through in all it’s entirety in under 15 minutes. You fail to develop a decent character when the most exciting thing to do is watch the Sheriff sit behind the Dollar General in-between towns to ticket out-of-staters for five miles over a ridiculously slow speed limit. There’s enough drama to milk from this situation to bless Country music fans with a dual album from everyone involved. Now that the world knows I expect no less than 27 songs from both Blake, Miranda, and Evan. With B-sides.
