Bud Bundy Says a ‘Married with Children’ Spinoff Is in the Works

According to David Faustino, who played Bud Bundy on Married with Children from 1987 to 1997, a Married with Children spinoff is in the works. 

"Sony has it. They're excited about it," Faustino told E! at the premier of Vacation, which stars his TV sister Christina Applegate. "They're working out some legal issues that we hope they work out. 

Right now they're still trying to get a pilot for the spinoff. And if Faustino is to be believed, that pilot it would be a kind of Bundy family reunion. 

"The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it," he said. 

Of course, this is pretty big news. Especially for Faustino. After all, he is pretty much the only original cast member of Married who didn't go on to bigger and better things. The aforementioned Applegate stars in major motion pictures, Ed O'Neill stars on Modern Family, and Katey Sagal has been on everything from Futurama to Sons of Anarchy. 

Poor Bud? His recent credits include...a bunch of stuff you've never heard of. This guy could use a Married with Children spinoff.
