Margot Robbie scored her first Oscar nomination last month, so it makes perfect sense that she'd almost immediately debase herself by playing a human in a talking animal movie. I mean, look, we've all got bills to pay, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of glory for someone playing the human in a movie where James Corden plays a farting animated rabbit.
There's a conspiracy theory circling the tubes of the various internets that Margot Robbie and Jamie Pressly are the same person. I mean, yes, they do look eerily similar, but I'm hung up on a couple of particulars. First, Margot's much younger. Second, she's also a substantially better actress. Third, I'd have to buy that Jamie Pressly cloned herself in the early 90s, deposited the clone in Australia, and ensured that her clone received the best acting training available.
To be honest, I don't know which is more far-fetched. Probably that last one. However, starring as the human in Peter Rabbit definitely a Jamie Pressly move. That's the thing about these conspiracies. You've just got to think up an alternative that's way more implausible and then use that as a point of comparison every time you bring up your conspiracy theory. Science!
