Kate Upton's #MeToo moment is hitting a roadblock now that her alleged abuser, Guess creative director Paul Marciano, is clapping back, stating that Upton's allegations are false and that she's just a h8er due to getting the boot from Guess after he once deemed her as "looking terrible." He really said that in his new statement. Apparently after multiple successful campaigns with the half-empty Ohio mall clothing line, Upton let the fame go to her head and started showing up to sets looking like she was actually from Ohio. Marciano had an important image to protect for fans of purses and shoes made of trash bags, so he fired Upton's ass, and is now speculating that this could be the reason for her scathing assault allegations. Marciano adds:
Ms. Upton provided no details ... She leveled this malicious and false accusation only hours before a gala event at our headquarters in Los Angeles unveiling a new Guess campaign. Ms. Upton told TMZ that 'I'm excited to tell my whole story.'
I am told that she has been working with others for some time to defame me and will claim that I groped her among other things. This accusation is false. I have never touched Kate Upton. I have never been alone with Kate Upton. I have never acted inappropriately towards her.
Unfortunately for Upton, she's hitting her #MeToo stride as it's on its way out. Now with an oversaturation of red herring victims, the public is being encouraged to question allegations and veer back towards embracing "innocent until proven guilty." I stated last time that Marciano pulling a Don Charney would be adhering to the job description, but you guys said Marciano was a homosexual. Whatever the case, he obviously hates women.
