Maitland Ward is the Sexiest Cosplayer at Comic Con

There has been a rather unfortunate dearth of hot cosplay costumes coming out of last week's San Diego Comic Con, but thankfully the always reliable Maitland Ward was there trying on two different looks of equally sexy means. The ravishing redhead first hit the con in nothing but the world's tiniest American flag bikini top and some short shorts, which I'm sure is the look of some comic character I'm unfamiliar with, but Maitland made it work by letting the edge of her left nipple show out the side of the bikini.

She returned to Comic Con the following day dressed as Dark Phoenix Jean Grey, but not either movie version. Instead she opted for the classic comic look which is infinitely sexier than the stupid maroon trench coat that both Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner wore when they brought the character to life. I think it's safe to say that Maitland Ward in the skin tight comic accurate version is by far the best live action representation of that character we've gotten to date.

Our hats are off to you Maitland Ward, you're out there doing the lord's work at every comic con, and even if that bikini top look is not representative of a comic book character, we couldn't be happier that you chose to wear it!
